In der Minciostraße 17 im 15. Wiener Bezirk entsteht ein neues Zentrum für Musik, Kunstentwicklung und kollektiven Austausch über eine lebenswerte Zukunft für alle sowie ein Ort, an dem die Rolle von Kunst als Möglichkeit gesellschaftliche Transformation zu unterstützen erforscht wird.

SOIL zielt darauf ab, das Thema „Boden“ künstlerisch zu erforschen, um die Auswirkungen menschlichen Handelns auf die Biodiversität und das komplexe Zusammenspiel von Bodenorganismen auf verschiedene Weisen zu beleuchten.

With the season of 2018, Suzie Heger handed the directorship over to musician couple Julia Lacherstorfer and Simon Zöchbauer both of whom have been closely linked to the festival for years; they have performed on the lake stage many times themselves.

Lacherstorfer and Zöchbauer are outstanding musicians. But at no point during their stirring concert do they seem to forget what kind of music they want to bring to the audience and what kind of emotions they are ambassadors.
